Program Description
This 3-hour online graduate course provides school administrators an opportunity to expand their knowledge and understanding of school finance. Participants will receive 3 hours of graduate credit through Virginia Commonwealth University.

Program Goals and Objectives
By the end of this program, participants will learn how to:
- employ effective strategies in the allocation of fiscal resources.
- identify, analyze, and resolve problems related to fiscal management using effective problem-solving strategies.
- enhance management of fiscal resources to promote student achievement.
- promote collaborative involvement in securing resources to support student learning.
- model professional and ethical standards regarding school division fiscal issues.

Online graduate course.
Target Audience
Secondary administrators and central office staff working with secondary schools.
Self-Selection and/or Identification Through School Division
Participants self-select the course.
Duration of Program
One semester.
Outcomes Measured
Outcomes are measured through course assessments.
Program Evaluation
Each participant completes a course evaluation form providing feedback to VCU and VASSP for use in future courses.
